Sept 2’s MLA Playdates were brought to you by…

The number 20. And the words “open” and “closed”.

Yesterday, parents from across BC shared a message with our elected representatives: We want our children back in school getting a quality public education.

Parents organized and attended 20* (updated: it’s at least 25) MLA Playdates or similar events across the province. We came to share our serious concerns as parents for our children, families and schools. We brought our children and, to occupy them, we strove to make engaging in a democratic process — well — a little more engaging. And fun.
